USAID facilitated a trip for four Turkish companies to visit Afghanistan and meet with two big Afghan Companies, including Boustan Sabz Agriculture Company. The above-mentioned four Turkish traders have visited Boustan Sabz Agriculture Company, and during their visit, they signed deals for dried fruits (almonds, raisins, walnuts, and pistachios) valued at over $16 million USD.

Boustan Sabz Agriculture Company is the biggest supplier of the highest quality dried fruits and actively exporting dried and fresh fruits abroad. The Company is a pioneer in dried fruit products such as almonds, raisins, walnuts, and pistachios, which are often in great demand.

USAID partners with agricultural businesses to expand exports, increase demand for Afghan products, and foster networks among agricultural producers.

They support targeted market interventions that build trust among Afghan exporters and foreign buyers that result in increased exports and more jobs for Afghan men and women working in agriculture production and agro-processing.
